Anyone who is not an Australian citizen needs a
visa to enter and remain lawfully in Australia. There are around 150
visa subclasses and it’s important to choose the right one for your
circumstances.
The visa process is relatively straightforward if you are simply
planning a holiday or a short business trip but if you want to live and
work in Australia, the procedure is more complex.
The various visa categories can be broadly grouped as follows:
Skilled Migration
There are a number of visa options for professionals, tradespersons and
recent Australian graduates to apply to live and work in Australia
provided they can fill occupations required in Australia. Some visa
subclasses in this category are points-tested and some require
sponsorship from an eligible family member or a State/Territory
Government. more info……
Family Migration
